Hi Everyone,
Here’s what I will be evaluating in your presentations this week:
- Content: whether you have included all of the information required, logical arguments, authentic facts to support your recommendations, implications of your recommendations, content in your responses to questions, etc.
- Style: voice projection, clarity of speech, eye contact with the audience (vs. reading heavily from notes), memorable conclusion, handling of questions, etc.
- Time management: within time limits, appropriate use of time for part A vs B
- Use of media: polished and proofed slides, smooth transitions between sections, media that support (vs. distract from) your speaking, etc.
Content and style will be weighted most heavily.
Reminders:
There will be a grading form for ALL students to fill out in class during the presentations, including what grade you recommend each team should receive!
There were questions for you to address in the Assignment Outline word document (posted on Vista), please make sure you are addressing those.
Think about what questions I may ask you, what your responses will be and who will be answering them.
