Citing for week 7-8:
Vancouver Tree App & Dirr, A. Michael “Manual of Woody Landscape Plant”
I’ve used the Tree App before and it is a good go-to source. However, the last few weeks required more investigation into smaller shrubs. So I primarily used the Manual of Woody Landscape Plant book. Rarely did I have to look at a secondary source (and when it was it was the Missouri botanical website) but over all it was pretty comphrensive. However, the organization is odd to navigate. For example, they would clump PJM Rhodo in with all Rhododendrons, So I had to flip back and forth to see what was the general habitat and culture vs the small summary write up.
