Process for Submitting News stories and events notices: FoE Website
Hi Everyone,
As stated earlier, we have hired Manjot to handle news stories and events for the FoE website on an interim basis. We have worked out the following process to maintain the website:
Please email stories and notices of events to communications.educ@ubc.ca
Deadline: Thursday 12:00 p.m. each week. Please be thoughtful and thorough with information, photos etc. Expect some minor editing and possible follow up questions from Manjot may occur.
The story / event will then be uploaded to website the following Monday or the next Monday depending on the queue.
We need you! So that we keep the communication flow going over the next period of time, I encourage you to step up and send news, information, event notices, images etc. to: communications.educ@ubc.ca

Celebrate and recognize our faculty, staff, students and departments:
· Conference, lecture, staff and student event announcements
· Recognizing faculty research achievements, awards, and published articles and books
Interesting research projects or centres from the Faculty
· Post-event photo with a link to an online gallery
· Tenure-track faculty appointments
· Local and International project announcements
· Major student award winners
· Introducing new staff through the “Getting To Know…” initiative by DNSO and Communications
