DEAN’S AWARD FOR STAFF EXCELLENCE
FACULTY OF EDUCATION
Each year, the Dean extends the Faculty’s appreciation for the valuable contributions of our staff through an award for staff excellence. This award recognizes excellence in staff service and support within the Faculty. The awardee will have their name entered on the Staff Excellence award plaque and which will receive $1,000.
All permanent full-time and part-time staff with appointments of two years or more in the Faculty of Education are eligible. Consideration will be given to those candidates who have contributed significantly to workplace productivity, quality of service and team morale through their general attitude, performance and activity. They will have demonstrated enthusiasm, integrity and leadership and shown a dedication to improving the sense of community and team spirit within their workplace.
Nominations must be submitted by 3 individuals comprised of Faculty, staff and/or students who will each provide a one-page letter of support that clearly addresses the considerations described above, and provides specific examples.
Nominations will be submitted to the Unit Head/Director by Friday, March 15, 2013 and will be forwarded to Jacinta Harris-Marcadier, Executive Administrator with the Head’s or Director’s comments by Friday, March 29, 2013.
