The next dictation will be the last dictation this term. The word list is attached below and will be handed out soon. Please note the first four words are foundation ones. Please let your children choose foundation or challenging words. The dictation date will be on March 5th.
We will be learning a main method that was used to create Chinese characters, Xingcheng(形声法). This dictation list shows how a root character 包 combines with various radicals to create different characters, such as hug抱, run跑. The root character, 包, gives a hint about the pronunciation and radicals give a clue about the meaning.

Students can choose to bring the duo tang back home to practice read aloud during weekend. Please remind your child to bring the duo tang back next Monday.

3. Festival Activities
Students made NianNianYouYu decoration, played matching spring couplets, made magic cards and roses in recent weeks. You can found photos of some activities on Seesaw.
