1. Dictation 听写

The next dictation word list is attached below and will be handed out soon. Please note the first four words(short sentences) are foundation ones. Please let your children choose to try foundation or challenging words.

The dictation date will be on Tuesday, Feb. 13.

2. Chants Duotang and audio

Students can bring the duo tang back home to practice read aloud during weekend. Please remind your child to bring the duo tang back next Tuesday(Monday is Pro-D day).

The audios below are for reference. We also use the first chant to learn rhyming(押韵).

3. A Video about Lion Dance in Singapore Chinese Community

Please note the speakers speak Mandarin quickly and use some difficult words. So it is challenging for non-native speakers to understand. Please use English subtitle to help understand.

We continue to learn the story, Three Little Pigs. The dictation words are selected from the story. The word list was handed out this week and is also attached below. Please note the first four words(sentences)  are foundation ones. Please let your children choose to try foundation or challenging dictation.

The first dictation will be on Tuesday, Jan. 23rd.

2. Chants and Chinese Duotang

Students can bring Chinese reading duotang back home to practice reading aloud. Please remind your child to bring their duotang back one the first school day of the following week(Mondays or Tuesdays).
