As advised for Assignment 2:1, I have drafted up a formal report which discusses strategies to expand the visibility of the Vancouver Public Libraries’ infant and youth literacy programs. Please find attached the official proposal.
The proposal includes:
- Information on the programs that the VPL offers, as well as my background and experience with this community
- The benefits to keeping these programs thriving in our city, especially in low-income areas
- Strategies that best spread information about these free programs offered, notably, in the Downtown Eastside
- Information on the importance of libraries and how they equalize access to books and resources
