In this unit, I have learned how to create a professional LinkedIn profile, and how to write a formal report proposal and outline. I had a profile prior to this course, but I managed to learn more tips about how to expand my network on LinkedIn. One important tip that I didn’t know was that you can have a personalized URL for your profile.
The peer review and my professor’s review of my proposal helped me to understand what I did wrong. Initially, I thought that it would be feasible to create a course that focuses on the technical part of the job interview, but after getting some review from Dr. Paterson and from my peer reviewer, I decided to abandon the idea. The reason for this is that there is a lack of professors, and also because there may not be enough students interested in such a class. I corrected my proposal, and I have updated a digital copy below.
