Access to most of our subscribed Blackwell journal content on Wiley InterScience is currently unavailable.
Be assured that our account rep at Wiley is working to resolve this as soon as possible.

Unfortunately in the meantime, the typical search leads to that frustrating ‘login below to purchase access’ screen. We are certainly not alone in this situation – it is being experienced world-wide to a greater or lesser extent. Here is Canada, the problem is shared by all our peer academic institutions, which like UBC, are part of the CRKN consortial license agreement.

Some progress has been made towards providing title level access (fewer instances of landing on the Wiley InterScience home page), however article level linking (Citation Linker, PubMed etc.) is not expected to be restored until later next week. We sincerely hope to have our access available before then!

As many of you have discovered there is missing content from Blackwell which is not yet available on the Wiley InterScience site. This includes some issues, articles, parts of articles (e.g. article loaded in xml but not in PDF) plus some missing metadata and articles which need to be fixed due to special character rendering issues.

Wiley aims to complete the migration over next 10 days. For the latest information, please go to the transition site.

As of Monday, June 30, 2008, all Blackwell journal content—including full-text HTML and PDF versions of articles from current issues, backfiles, and issues published online before print—has been incorporated into Wiley InterScience.

Blackwell Synergy is no longer online.

PLEASE NOTE: OpenURL links are currently not redirecting at the journal level but instead default to the Wiley InterScience homepage. This means the UBC elink and Serials Solutions A-Z links are not linking directly to titles and articles. The publisher is working on this and expects to have this resolved within a few days.

All journal content on Blackwell Synergy merges into Wiley InterScience
As of July 1, 2008, all Blackwell journal content—including all full-text HTML and PDF versions of articles from current issues, backfiles, and issues published online before print—will be incorporated into Wiley InterScience. Over the weekend of June 28th and 29th, 2008, there will be a period when both Blackwell Synergy and Wiley InterScience will be unavailable while the publishers transition and re-index data.

After July 1, 2008, Blackwell Synergy will no longer be available online.

Access to our Palgrave MacMillan titles has been restored.

Wednesday, May 7th
Access to Palgrave MacMillan titles is currently unavailable. We are working to restore access as soon as possible.
