The team with Mentimeter seems balanced and organized well. The descriptions of each individual has some great personality flairs to help people connect with the team. Their Branch Manager, Head of Customer Satisfaction and Lead Brand Enforcement “individuals” also look exceptionally competent.

Having sat through my fair share of brutally dull meetings my curiosity is definitely peaked on how Mentimeter could improve engagement. It would be nice to actually interact with the speaker in a meeting (and vice versa, as a speaker know what your audience is thinking). The interview was interesting- he seems like a laid-back kind of guy. It was interesting that they asked him several questions about how he or his company might be giving back to society, and he wasn’t really clear on the responses…

I think Mentimeter has the right direction in terms of presentation engagement. At times I do wish live polling, surveys and the visualization of data are included in the existing tools/LMS’ we use, it’s a great way to keep your audience’s attention and paves the way for better participation for both educational and professional environments. I can see this being quite handy for larger scale lectures (100+ students) as it’s extremely difficult to interact with everyone under those circumstances
