Sundeep Patal started this company in 2007. His background is a degree in Biology. He left his job as an associate scientist and tried out life as a stock broker for one day. He then joined his first estartup company where he realized his future focus would be in the tech industry. He has been working in eLearning for over 18 years. Review

I did not find much on Sundeep Patal. He has a short bio on the company’s website, but other than that, not much online presence. From where he started with his science degree, to where he is now, providing elearning applications, seems like a leap. I cannot say that the career pivot would be what I would do, but I also think that being willing to take the chance on opportunity that arrises is daring. This product has a many applications in the job and education market. Saving time not having to go over all of the ‘how tos’ for an educator or employer/ee would be an asset in a pandemic world where face to face is not an option.

Marie, thanks for sharing this example. Regarding your founder Patal, I agree there is limited information on him here, and this technology in particular resonates with me for app and browser integration, since there are plenty of screen-recording services out there (and even one built into Windows operating systems). That said, this idea in 2007 would certainly be more out of the box than it is now. As for Patal’s capacity as a role model, I think the information is too limited to tell, but his experience in eLearning for over 18 years, with this venture founded in 2007, does provide him with a great deal of experience even without formal educational training, which I believe would be of good use to would-be-edTech-entrepreneurs.
