AI Disclosure Statement

Anthropic’s Claude was used primarily at the beginning of this analysis process for preliminary research and ideation. It assisted me in ensuring my chosen topic was appropriate for an investor, rather than consumer, audience. It also assisted in rewording the introduction and concluding remarks of the podcast script. All writing, analysis, and recording was completed by me (besides the music!).

  1. Hi Duncan,

I really enjoyed the podcast format of this analyst report and thought it was very professionally produced–it sounded like an episode of This American Life. I’m not too familiar with the medical education market, but the context you provided gave a solid overview of the emerging AI medical education market. I also appreciated the recap you provided towards the end of the podcast when you summed up the differences between the three ventures. It was interesting scanning through the websites of each AI venture because Elsevier’s Clinical Key AI and Amboss present as more of a traditional academic website. In contrast, Dr. Oracle AI is definitely the most flashy and eye-catching out of the three, which makes sense considering it is the “scrappy start-up”, as you put it, and does not necessarily have the entrenched institutional backing behind it like Clinical Key does.
