Thank-You from Week 7: Cloud-Based Learning Management Systems

From Leonora, Jon, Dennis, Tim and Kenton, we thank those that participated in our presentation on Cloud-Based Learning Management Systems over this last week. We feel cloud computing will be a major part of our future, even with some drawbacks (that we are now aware of and ready to handle).

We appreciate the honest discussion about the dark side of cloud computing as well as each of your predictions for its future impact on our lives. We came out of this week with our eyes open a little wider to the view of cloud-based learning as well as some cautionary steps to take before diving in with both feet.

We hope you enjoyed the week, learned more about some of the cloud-based learning management systems that are available, and can use the class-created wiki that lists our ideas as how to use the cloud in education.
