Get Instant Math Help from Mobile Math Apps

With the rise of remote or e-learning, sometimes teacher’s immediate help is not always available to students, so these math problem solving Apps can be great alternatives for providing instant help to students.

These apps will double check your answers, provide you step by step instructions for problem solution, plot a graph for any function you want, and much more when you simply take a picture of a problem and the app recognize the problem.

Hi Esther, I never knew about Photomath, which is great for parents who are working with their kids. My concern with these apps is that students will become reliant on them instead of learning math. They will not figure out the problem but instead use the app to do the calculations. In my opinion, the apps should are only for assistance when students are stuck. However, the flip side to this argument is that these apps are the new way of learning. Students who engage with such apps may better understand mathematics as they use technology as a learning tool.
