Hello everyone!
My name is Rylan Klassen, and this is my final semester in the MET! I am from, and currently live in, Kelowna BC. I have been a teacher for almost four years, but this year will be my first full time all year contract. I have a wonderfully rambunctious grade 5/6 class and am equal parts excited and anxious about all the things to do this year. As for this course, I am interested to see how the blog format will change my educational experience and if this new way to engage will significantly alter my course takeaways.
About Me: I love to swim, read (especially Harry Potter), play board and video games, watch movies, visit family, and take extended naps. I enjoy debate and the informal exchange of ideas. One day, it is my dream to travel the world, so long as COVID stays away and I finish this program. It will be my joy to get to know everyone a little bit better and collaborate on our many discussions together.
