Day 2

We survived our first night at a hostel. Wasn’t the best or worst experience, but we defiantly aren’t overly excited for encounter…

We explored around the town visiting the Church of our Lady, Market Square, Town Hall and the Basillica of Holy Blood. In the Basillica is was very interesting because when we entered there was a pew sectioned off for all the tourists to sit in the mass that was taking place. Once the service was over we were able to go up to the priest and see the vile. This vile is from the 12th century and is to contain the blood of Christ. One of the strange things about Bruges is that you can walk down one street and is be completely empty, however if you walk down the next street it will have about 100 people walking down it!
