Application

All students interested in registering for the course must have the following prerequisites:

• AGSC 250 or LFS 250
• Minimum 3rd year standing
• FNH 250 and/or FNH 355 are beneficial (please indicate if you have taken these courses)
• Submission of a brief written personal statement (described below)

Personal Statement

As a Student Directed Seminar we are required to have a selection process in which we ask every student interested in our course to submit brief personal statement. The course is limited to 15 people.

The brief written personal statement should include the following in no more than 500 words:

• Please state your academic year and degree program
• Why you are interested in this SDS?
• State any previous experience where you have developed or improved on team-work and leadership skills (i.e. job, extra-curricular activity, or relevant courses)
• What your expectations are for this SDS?
