Hi, my name is Crystal. I am a transfer student from Langara College since May 2016. I am now a Year 3 student and majored in Geography. I am now taking Environmental and Sustainability Program. I am interested in the study of Geography because I think geography is interesting and useful. I think environment and human are interrelated. Study Geography can make me understand more about this interrelationship.
In this project, our theme is Land, housing and gentrification in Mumbai. I chose Mumbai because Mumbai is Global South and one of the most global megacities with rapid economic growth. I am interested in the study of how urbanization processes in Mumbai stimulated economic development in India.
