As mentioned by Mohammad Zahirul Islam, Jessika Johnston and Peter D. Sly in their paper, more research is needed to determine the relationship between children’s development and green space. This study aims to contribute to that discussion, providing some answers and direction for further research.

Research Question: How does green space impact children’s development?

Hypothesis: Students who have greater access to green space will have improved development, specifically they will have higher Early Development Instrument (EDI) scores.

Null Hypothesis: There is no relationship between green space and children development.
