Keynote May 25th Bauhaus Dessau – “Climate Resilient Tools for Landscape Architects”
Founded by Professor Daniel Roehr in 2007, greenskins lab is a research group at the University of British Columbia School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. The lab disseminates information on urban design retrofits and new approaches that improve the ecological functions of public open spaces.
????As a landscaping enthusiast, I found this presentation provided valuable insights into the relationship between landscape structure and freshwater connectivity. Understanding how natural landscapes interact with freshwater systems is crucial for urban planning and environmental conservation efforts. Appreciate the comparative approach taken in this study, which sheds light on the diverse strategies employed in different cities to enhance landscape connectivity and preserve freshwater ecosystems.
