Here are some suggestions for how best to show our speakers your engagement and support at GSURS 2022:

1. Try your best to make it on-time to the panel you’re interested in attending
2. Set yourself up in a quiet area, so that you aren’t distracted by other environmental factors.
3. If you feel comfortable having your camera on, signal your engagement with non-verbal cues such as nodding or keeping eye contact with the screen.
4. Take notes!
5. Ask good questions — maybe questions you yourself would like to be asked. We suggest writing them down first rather than putting them directly into the chat, so as to not distract the speakers.
