HiLo, in collaboration with YAO+, was named one of four finalists to design and curate the Canadian Pavilion at the 2023 Venice Biennale. Our entry titled “|POST|” explored the Proud to work on this project with Thena Tak of HiLo, and Piper Bernbaum, Suzy Brandt-Harris, and Ozayr Saloojee of YAO+. Our exhibition proposed a reframing of one of architecture’s most ordinary, yet fundamental components—the post—done so to question and challenge the notion of the Post-Nation and its entanglements with architecture. More to come on this amazing project, and a sincere thanks to all the people who helped us realize our proposal.
