The HiLo Lab is conducting parallel research into the strategic reuse of waste wood, plastics, fabrics, and other waste materials. This work includes thermoforming recycled plastic sheets and 3D printing wood waste. We are currently designing a demonstration pavilion that will combine our “zippered 2×4” strategy with other HiLo Lab generated techniques. Our goal is to build a unique structure almost entirely from up-cycled waste materials. Select initiatives may be reviewed in greater detail on the projects pages. We will be sharing new projects on forming, printing, and assembly in the near future.
Thank you for your interest in HiLo Lab.
