As a critical discourse analyst, my research has centered chiefly on discursive constructions of religious identity. More recently, however, I have been involved in interdisciplinary studies of economic discourse. Details of this research can be found on my “Publications” page.

As a faculty member in UBC’s Educational Leadership Stream, much of my research focuses on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). My current projects in this area are listed here below:

  • Principal investigator: Reflecting on Writing across the Disciplines: Evaluating student learning in Arts Studies in Research and Writing
