Project Statement
Inclusive design is accessible, adaptable and multifunctional, serving the needs of a diverse population. We predict that increased development and population density will result in declining green space ownership and equity of access to nature.
To address these issues, we have focused on fulfilling the needs of children & families in the neighborhood who might otherwise lack access to green space. Our design also improves rainwater management and enhances bird & pollinator habitat, making it inclusive to wildlife as well as people.
