Leor Elizur

Leor has an Honours BA in Psychology from UBC and is an incoming MA student. She was the previous lab manager of both the Sexuality and Well-being (SWELL) Lab and the Memory and Imagination Lab at UBC. Her research interests lie at the intersection of mental health and sexuality, and she is particularly interested in the mental health experiences of sexual and gender minorities. She has worked in social justice organizing and mental health support and has seen how inextricably linked the two often are. This, combined with the scarcity of social justice in the undergraduate psychology curriculum, inspired her to work to create this space for undergraduates in academia.
