Clinical Research Coordinator – Arthritis Research Canada (ARC)

• Initially hired as a Research Assistant, I was promoted to Clinical Research Coordinator in just 1 year, supervising a team of 4 and directing 2 studies aimed at improving self-care for Rheumatoid Arthritis. My tasks include patient screening, ethics applications, and leading education sessions. This led to  publishing 3 manuscripts (one 1^st author) & 3 abstracts (one 1^st author + podium presentation)

 

Vice-President, Board of Directors – Richmond Multicultural Community Services (RMCS)

• Aligning with my own values, RMCS has a vision of building a harmonious and inclusive society. Helping reshape its mission and strategic initiatives taught me about the cornerstones of community development and the dynamics of anthropology and behavior. At board meetings, we work cohesively to ensure sound ethical decisions and legal governance.

• In a team of 2, I strategize content creation for a social media platform with 25K followers, featuring Vancouver’s food scene. Assessing analytics and social media trends teaches me about digital engagement. Networking with media agencies and other content creators develops my creativity and teaches me about connecting and communicating.
