I have chosen to focus on the South East Asian region.
I guess having traveled in SE Asia, I have a particular liking for the region, but, also democratic transitions within the region are really interesting and diverse.

    Good choice. There is no ‘right answer’ when it comes to choosing a region to study; however, if there was a correct answer, it would be Southeast Asia. For reasons completely separate from my research interest in Indonesia… *

    Out of curiosity, which Southeast Asian countries did you travel in?

    Hi Nathan,

    I traveled through Malaysia, Thailand, Laos and Burma( briefly), had a lot of fun would love to go back one day.
