So… I have officially finished my first year of University. On Friday, I finished my last exam (all my exams were in the same week.) YAAHH!!!
In other news, what the heck am I going to do until school starts in September? Since I’m not taking any summer courses, I basically don’t have anything to do. If I don’t have anything to occupy my time I’m probably going to go crazy. I really need to get a job, but I don’t know where to apply.
If you’d like to catch up with me, you can check out my Flickr, or through the comments on this blog.

PS. If anyone has heard about job openings I would love you forever.

congratulations !! Have a great summer… maybe you could check with career services for jobs, they might have some options on campus.
Yeah – I’ve heard something about that… I’ll check it out. Thanks!
Canada Summer Jobs is a good option to look into, if you’re not taking any summer school.
Depending on whether you’re a domestic or international student, you can also think about applying for Work Study or Work Learn. These are really good, well-paid on-campus jobs. If you’re a domestic kid, you’ll have to do 6 credits of summer school any time over the summer, but if you’re international and did full-time school this winter, you don’t have to do any summer courses at all. You can check out more on their eligibility requirements.
Otherwise, CareersOnline is a good search engine.
Thanks, I’ll definitely check that out right now!
I hear you need connections to get jobs easy in this economy.
But you should check out
UBC Careers Online
and
UBC Work Study /Work Learn
programs.
Good luck to us both!
Good luck on your job search!
Congrats! Hopefully you can blog more over the summer 😉
PS: NF-kappaB was in my reCAPTCHA thinger in your comment box… …immunology is coming to get me!
Yeah I’m going to blog over the summer, unfortunately I wasn’t as diligent as I should have been throughout this year. 😛 Good luck on immunology though!
