Welcome!

Hey there!

Our global food system is causing all kinds of problems: poor health and nutrition, climate change, pollution, high production costs, and human rights violations, to name a few. Therefore, we find that there is nothing more urgent (and also exhilarating) than fixing the food system from the bottom up. By starting right in our own communities, just ten minutes from our campus, we are fulfilling our obligations as budding food systems academics to work with local communities and try to repair the food system. We’re excited to tell you stories of our community engagement process as time goes by! Please browse around the blog to find out more.

Thanks for visiting! 🙂
