August Workshops at the UBC Farm

Summer is still here! Here are some workshops happening at the UBC Farm:

Three Sisters in The Kitchen: A Traditional Maya Cooking Class

Join members of the UBC Farm Maya in Exile Garden for an interactive traditional cooking workshop this August. In this workshop, participants will learn how to make the delicious yerva Mora salad; the steamed and sauté amaranth (bledo) with squash blossoms with freshly made tortillas. Try your hand at making fresh tortillas, and enjoy the garden-fresh dishes you prepare!
