Workshop: The Building Blocks of Working in Canada – Jan 21 & 22, 2014

Looking for work on campus this summer through the Work Learn Program? With Work Learn, you’ll be able to apply your knowledge in a practical setting, develop your professional skills and learn in a work environment. Learn more about your eligibility.

To support you in finding campus work this summer, the Centre for Student Involvement & Careers, in partnership with the International Students Association (ISA), will be offering a free workshop to help you understand the job search process and cultural norms of working in Canada that are essential to your success on the job. Learn how to write a Canadian resume and cover letter and how to maximize your work experience. The workshop will be offered on the following days:

• Tuesday, January 21, 3:30pm – 5:00pm / Register
• Wednesday, January 22, 3:30pm – 5:00pm / Register
