Nutritional Epidemiology research and teaching seminars – Jan 20/21, 30/31

Our faculty will be interviewing candidates for a new position in Nutritional Epidemiology this month. We would like to invite you to the research and teaching seminars that each of the candidates will be giving. One candidate, Dr Russell de Sousa (from McMaster) has already completed his visit to UBC and provided his research and teaching seminars earlier this month.

The following two candidates remain:

Dr. Joann McDermid (from Cornell)
Dr. Niyati Parekh (from NYU)

You are warmly encouraged to attend these seminars. This is a very exciting opportunity to be part of, as the new faculty member will bring new research initiatives and the possibility of new courses in nutritional epidemiology and in their specific areas of expertise. You will have the opportunity to provide feedback during the seminars, which will be shared with the faculty hiring committee and considered during the selection process.
