Take Back the Wild – Conservation Leadership Training (deadline Feb 14th)

Are you concerned about the environment?
Are you interested in preserving B.C.’s oceans and wilderness?
Do you have what it takes to be a leader?
Do you live in B.C.?

If you answered YES to these questions, then you can’t miss Take Back the Wild!

From March 7th-9th, 2013 CPAWS-BC will be providing 25 youth, aged 30 and under, with the tools to shape their future and their province. Take Back the Wild off­ers professional skills training such as community engagement, government relations, and media relations.

You will also have the opportunity to deepen your understanding about endangered ecosystems, and ocean and wilderness protection while furthering your passion for conservation in B.C.

After the training you will apply your skills on a mentored conservation project and build your network of conservation peers.

The program is all expenses paid: accommodation, food, and the water taxi to Gambier Island will be provided for the weekend training. Travel subsidies are also available.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until February 14th, 2014 so get yours in early.
