Zoobiquity 2014: Saturday, November 1, 2014. 7:30 am – 7:00 pm
University of Washington Campus and Woodland Park Zoo
STUDENT POSTER COMPETITION:
Medical, Veterinary and other health science students who plan to attend Zoobiquity 2014 in Seattle are invited to submit a poster for consideration for presentation at the conference. A prize (to be determined) for the best submission will be conferred at the end of the meeting. Interested students should prepare and submit abstracts of their posters as follows:
Poster Criteria: The theme of the poster must
- focus on environment and health
- include human AND animal impacts
- preferably be global or international in scope
- fall within the zoobiquity concept (Find more information here)
The subject may involve a student’s individual research or comprise a topical review of an appropriate theme.
Formatting: Printed posters should be no larger than 3′ x 4′ (36″ x 48″) in size. Posters should include:
- Title
- Student author name(s) and affiliation
- Abstract/summary no more than 250 words
- Appropriate illustrations, narrative, and short list of references
Poster abstracts should be submitted for review by the deadline below. Authors will be notified within 2 weeks if their poster has been accepted.
