Do you know a great teacher? Call for Nominations – Killam Teaching Prize

This is your chance to identify a professor, instructor or lecturer in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems who has inspired you!

LFS awards Killam Teaching Prizes every second academic year to acknowledge outstanding contributions made by teaching faculty in LFS. Nominations may be made by students, alumni or faculty.

Among the criteria taken into consideration are sustained teaching excellence, the ability to motivate students and stimulate critical thinking, and development of innovative approaches to teaching methodology and curricula.

Nominations are made by a letter of nomination from students, alumni and/or faculty and should be submitted to: Melanie Train

The nomination letter must include reasons for nominating this candidate, and one or more examples of her/his excellent teaching practice. Nominations for the 2016 prize must be received by October 11, 2015.
