This is an excellent opportunity to pursue a one year, fully funded graduate degree program in China. The Yenching Academy of Peking University builds bridges between China and the rest of the world through an interdisciplinary master’s program in China Studies for outstanding graduates from all over the globe. This initiative brings together young people who show promise to lead and innovate in their disciplinary studies. The Yenching Academy provides an intensive learning environment where students can explore China and its role in the world – past, present, and future. The Academy aims to shape a new generation of global citizens with a nuanced understanding of China.
As a partner of Peking University, UBC has the opportunity to nominate 1 – 2 students to the program. Program costs, including flight accommodation and living costs, for nominated students will be paid for by Peking University. Students will be selected by UBC.
