The Dr. Elizabeth Feniak Award for Excellence in Technical Writing – deadline Apr 30, 2017

The Canadian Home Economics Foundation offers the Dr. Elizabeth Feniak Award for Excellence in Technical Writing, a writing award for undergraduate and graduate students.

The Canadian Home Economics Foundation (CHEF) is the only registered charity that supports home economists and graduates of Human Ecology and other related programs in research, public service, education, post-secondary education and training.

Their purpose is to support home economics professionals (or associations) to carry out projects related to the mission of home economics – to improve the quality of life for individuals and families. From 1981 to April 30, 2016, over $600,000 has been given in grants and awards. For grant application forms, please contact grants@chef-fcef.ca.

PRIZES: $500 in each category

TO ENTER: Submit an original paper, or adapt a seminar report or term paper on recent research or new developments in an area of home economics (max. 3,000 words, in English or French).

ENTRY DEADLINE: Postmarked by April 30, 2017
