UBC Farm Fall Fair at the Saturday Farmers Market
The UBC Farm will be throwing a big fall themed fair on Saturday September 16 during the regular market hours. Stop by for a celebration of the harvest and fun activities:
- Live music
- Farm photo booth
- Pie tasting competition with celebrity judges LFS Dean Rickey Yada, Doughgirls Chef Rose Concepción, and farmer/student Michael Annejohn (details about how to enter below)
- Weirdest veggie contest: bring a vegetable you grew that you think looks strange and check out the wacky and wonderful world of imperfect produce
- Info booths from Roots on the Roof, the Agronomy Garden, Sprouts and more: learn how to get involved in growing, cooking and eating local food on campus
- Hands-on activities and crafts for kids
- More than 20 different vendors selling produce, fruit, ice cream, baked goods, hot food, beverages, and more
