Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Research Conference (MURC) – March 22, 2014

Celebrate exciting and innovative research at UBC!

The Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Research Conference (MURC) is supported by the UBC Provost Office, the Vice President, Research + International Office, and the various direct-entry Faculties and Schools at both UBC campuses. It is managed by the Vice President, Students Office.

The top presenters from this year’s Conference will be invited to submit papers for possible publication in the conference proceedings. They may also be asked to compete to represent UBC at the U21 Undergraduate Research Conference next July.

Undergraduate researchers will be presenting on their work and keynote speakers will share their exceptional and exciting research experiences with you. There will also be information booths with research and funding opportunities. Come check out what your colleagues are doing, and get connected so you can do it too.

Want to know more about getting involved with research? Come to MURC and see what’s happening in the world of undergraduate research at UBC.

How can you get involved with MURC?

Apply to Present – We are looking for student presenters that are conducting research across all UBC faculties. Your project does not have to be finalized, and can be at any stage of the research process as long as you get the pre-approval of your Supervisor before registering.

Register to Attend – Come out to celebrate all of the exciting and innovating research that is being conducted by your classmates.

Volunteer – We are always looking for a few outstanding people to help make this conference a success. Learn new things, build your skills, share your expertise, and meet new people.
