UBC students from the Land and Food Systems 350 Course has partnered with Gordon Neighbourhood House to organize an “Urban InFARMation Fair” event for Tuesday, November 18th at 7:00-8:00 PM at Gordon Neighbourhood House. The event will include:
– Cooking demonstrations on how to prepare quick, easy, and healthy dishes, such as salad, soup, and kale chips
– Resources and tool kits on how to build your own herb garden
– Information about Gordon Neighbourhood House’s Urban Farm, Seed Library and Neighbourhood Small Grants Program
– Quick online survey (you will be entered into a prize draw!)
– Door prizes
The event is FREE, so all you have to bring is yourself and a friend or two.
