Hannah presented my lesson and graphic organizer on “Types of static charges”. She began by showing an animation of a person walking across a soft carpet and reaching for the door knob, when suddenly…zap. Then she asked questions about why and what was happening here to promote students’ curiosity in learning the content. Followed by preloading the knowledge of charges, composition and structure of an atom using different visual aids. She explained the content in a clear manner and used the graphic organizer as a formative assessment at the end to check the understanding. In general, Hannah did a great job in conveying the concept of static charge.
