Georgia did a great job at teaching the initial steps of a Dogfish Dissection. She gave context as to why we were looking at a dogfish and not a different type of fish. There were a few more terms that I could have clarified and repeated for her so that she could remember them. I was impressed that she was able to say all the biological terms correctly and that she gave the more common term for some scientific words (ie. cloaca). Next time, I need to make sure she understands what mid ventral means. Her repetition of vocal to the group was fabulous and was great with clarifying anything they asked (like how deep to cut). One thing that I need to make sure is that I don’t assume that someone knows where the pectorals are.
