Weddings are Overrated

Weddings could be so much better

When I say that weddings are overrated, I will definitely not make any friends with all the women out there.  But maybe the men will understand where I am coming from.  If it were up to me I would have a super-small wedding with only the closest family and friends.  20 people or less would be perfect.  That keeps the pressure down due to less planning, less drama and less costs.  I am frugal person and my wedding should reflect that.  I am also not a big fan of all these wedding customs:  Something, old, new, borrowed, blue – what is that?  Huge, expensive wedding cake,  best man, brides maids, throwing rice, super-pricey rings are all a huge turn-off for me.  I think if you love each other that is enough and you just make it official with a little ceremony – done.  Things would be much simpler and you would probably be able to enjoy the wedding and the wedding night instead of stressing about a million things on your wedding day.

I would also change the vows to reflect what I think is right and suitable.  But I think that custom wows are actually a thing now or have been for a while.  Getting gifts is fine if anyone wants to but it is not necessary.  I think there would be a lot less divorces if people wouldn’t heap all this grand wedding-pressure on themselves.  And then there is the myriad of wedding photos that HAVE to be taken – from every angle, all the time.  I would say take a few pictures of the most important moments and have a friend with a decent digital camera do it for you.  That would be very easy and affordable if not free.  Affordable wedding photography is what I recommend for any wedding.

If what’s inside counts then why are we doing all these outward things in weddings these days?

The Art of Wedding Photography: Freezing the Perfect Moments

Wedding Photography Creston    Abby Lee Art Photography

Wedding photography is more than a service; it is an expression of art which freezes the most precious moments in a lifetime-when a man and a woman decide to live their life together. A professional wedding photographer does not just click pictures; they retain the emotions, details, and memories that differentiate any marriage from others.
Wedding photography tells a story – from the first glance between the two to the tearful moments during vows. A good photographer works discreetly, blending into the background while capturing those startlingly joyful, loving, and celebratory moments. They focus on framing each shot, making sure every little detail-from the bride’s dress to the floral arrangements-is captured with care.
Understanding lighting is one of the key aspects involved in wedding photography: the soft glow of the morning sun, the romantic hues of the reception hall, or the dramatic effects created by artificial lighting. Photographers use various techniques to make each image clear, beautifully lit, and striking.
Wedding photographers take a great many shots of posed portraits, candid moments, and wide-angle views of the entire celebration. They often work with a couple before the actual wedding to understand what styles they will want captured-whether it be very traditional or focusing more on contemporary, photo-journalistic styles.
Besides the technical skills, a wedding photographer needs to be able to connect with his or her clients. By building trust, it will help the couple be comfortable and natural in front of the camera so that real expressions and emotions can be captured.
After all, wedding photography creston is about preserving memories that will last a lifetime. A properly timed shot or some uninhibited moments can give the couple timeless images to keep for the rest of their lives.
