With three more days left, political campaigns are pleading for Canadians’ vote. October 19th, 2015, marks the last chance Canadians have to contribute to the future of our country’s next four years. In 2011, an alarming 40% of the citizens population did not vote. This resulted in a conservative majority government, which shook Canada’s core. Voters need to be further informed of each party’s obligations, and priorities before voting this month.

Since the last federal election; Canada’s Military has become a major war-active contributor in the Middle East with a budget surpasing $1 billion, Canada’s information source, CBC, has been cut $115 million, the environment is becoming increasingly overlooked with proposals such as the Keystone and Northern Gateway pipelines and major cuts in Environment Canada’s funding, and Canadians personal and citizenship security has been shaken with bills C-51 and C-24.

Our last election has formed a government with very questionable priorities. We need people who can speak out for the well-being of all Canadians and our enviorment.

The Green Party is dedicated to investment in Canada, and the voice we need.

With continual debate supression, the Green Party’s leader, Elizabeth May, may not have another chance to participate in debate.

The Green Party is the only party which Canadian environmentalist, David Suzuki, is in full support of. He claims that the Green Party’s environmental platform is the only plan in comparison to PC, Liberal, and NDP, which will be effective in fighting climate change, and shaping a sustainable Canada.

Hear them out, and this October 19th, vote for a Canada that has their priorities straight.

Lots of love,

Nicole
