One aspect that intrigues me most about a blog is the writer’s confidence in expressing his/her opinions. Having a strong opinion and standing by it is what captures my interest and this blog does all of the above. And the man behind the blog? The one and only Mark Cuban.

Mark Cuban, the chairman of HDNet and the owner of NBA team Dallas Mavericks, is known to have those qualities. As one of the most successful sports businessman, he has strong opinions and he is definitely not afraid to voice them. Although I am not an admirer of Cuban as a person due to the rivalry he has with my favourite basketball team, I enjoy his blog immensely because his posts are thought-provoking and often contentious. His views on the tech industry and general business management and strategies are unique – to say the least.

What I admire most about his writing though is that it incites further thought. His perspectives on business and the tech industry are entertaining to read as they are provocative and controversial at times. The fact that he is affiliated with the world of sports, especially basketball, makes this business blog easily my favourite. The loudmouth Mark Cuban can be irritating and a pest as on opposing owner but as a blogger and businessman, he’s a man with a lot of controversies, opinions, success, experience, and knowledge and that makes a blog useful and interesting.
