I had a quick touchbase call with the practicum partner this morning and discussed the following:
- Shift in Project Focus: The focus of the project has shifted slightly from conducting research to building a practical toolkit. I plan to try several vibe coding tools to create solutions that help instructors build visual syllabi. The research on existing articles and design principles will provide the guiding framework for building this tool.
- UBC Context: The project will be grounded in the UBC context, which includes integrating UBC syllabus policies and MET course syllabus examples.
- Resource Recommendation: Partner recommended reviewing Meyer’s principles for reference.
- Next Steps: I aim to submit a draft deliverable next week to seek feedback.
