Course Learning Outcomes

The following are the Course learning outcomes that will be achieved by the end of lesson 3. The first course outcome involves lower levels of learning which are congruent with the session learning outcomes which involve introduction and recall of knowledge. The latter two course outcomes involve higher levels of cognitive and affective learning. The latter two course outcomes are congruent with session learning outcomes that involve analysis, synthesis and application of interpersonal skills.

1. Recognize and identify the risk factors of obstructive sleep apnea during the assessment phase of client care.

2. Demonstrate how to use screening questionnaires for obstructive sleep apnea during client care.

3. Discuss the client specific risk factors for obstructive sleep apnea with the client in a professional and knowledgeable manner during client care.
