The University of British Columbia’s “Records in the Chain” Project had a Ph.D. student, Darra Hofman, embedded in this project.

Blockchain for Recordkeeping: Help or Hype?

This report in two volumes addresses the question of how blockchain technology, as an emerging technology, can be used for the benefit of Canadians. The report was funded by a grant from Social Science and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) of Canada’s Knowledge Synthesis Program.
