Thank you for suddenly making everything look so nice. I especially appreciate the new lawn spaces, and also the new bus stops, classy.
The new posters around campus really show what beautiful things are being done. From here. They make me feel proud.
It is so sweet of you to add all those extra security measures. It really shows that your students are your top priority.
Thank you, UBC.
I do have one suggestion, though.
How about being a little more real during this process of euphemization?
How about:
Lack of secure housing for international students. From here.
Lack of job placements for international students. From here.
No loans for international students. From here.
Low internationalization of our curriculum. From here.
…

Ideal Vs. Real Culture. From Here.
I don’t know how practical it would be to add more international content to our courses; and also, I don’t see why they would put international content into our courses when they don’t put Canadian content into the courses.
Nonetheless, I’m not complaining either way. I’d much prefer my science courses to stick with science, and my arts courses to stick to their topics.
While I agree with most of that (don’t know about loans), nothing’s ever going to be perfect when the Olympics come around, or any other event…We can’t wait for our city to be perfect before we host the games because it never will be. Although it is part of the process-to have people like you drawing attention to things we can improve on, so good job on that.
I’m just glad they covered that muddy area in front of the SUB with gravel.
